PrimaLuceLab Team completed the installation of a new SPIDER 300A, the 3 meter diameter compact radio telescope for 1420 MHz radio astronomy, in University of Lincoln (UK)!
PrimaLuceLab team installed more SPIDER 500A radio telescopes at the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences & Technology! In April 2019 we installed the first 5 meter diameter radio telescope and now we added two more in preparation to use together as the first interferometry array composed of SPIDER radio telescopes!
PrimaLuceLab team completed the installation of the 5 meter radio telescope that will be used by Telecommunication Institute of Aveiro (Portugal). SPIDER 500A will be remotely controlled thanks to the Networking Module for RadioUniversePRO software.
The 3 meter radio telescope is controlled remotely by the University of Cape Town thanks to the Networking Module for RadioUniversePRO software: it allows work out plenty of radio astronomy programs for education. PrimaLuceLab team completed the installation and recorded the first light!
Weather conditions in UK are generally bad for astronomy since rains are very common in all the year. But for radio astronomy, especially at 1420 MHz, the weather condition is not a problem and Radio2Space radio telescopes have been design for this task too! That’s why we just installed the…
Radio2Space SPIDER 500A, the 5 meter diameter professional radio telescope, has been installed at the Sharjah Center for Astronomy & Space Sciences, close to Dubai in the United Arabic Emirates. In the picture, from the right: Filippo Bradaschia (PrimaLuceLab president), Issam S. Abujami (SCASS IT & System Specialist), Professor Ilias…
We installed one of our SPIDER 300A advanced radio telescopes in Dr. Karl Remeis Observatory for the Astronomy Institute of Erlangen-Nuernberg University in Bamberg, Germany. The radio telescope is composed by the 3 meter antenna with computerized weatherproof mount installed in front of the observatory and the 1420 MHz H142-One radio astronomy…
The advanced radio telescope SPIDER 300A has been installed in New Mexico Tech college in Socorro (USA), headquarter of Very Large Array (VLA) radio telescope operated by the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO)! The new SPIDER 300A will be used for research in radio astronomy and for students alike. Astrophysics…
SPIDER 230C compact radio telescope has been chosen by Deggendorf Institute of Technology as instrument to introduce students to radio astronomy. Deggendorf Institute of Technology is a university in Bavaria (Germany) offering first level education in a modern environment equipped with the latest technology. After our first visits in which…
