Officina Stellare RiDK 400 f7 is the modified Dall-Kirkham telescope with 400mm diameter and 2800mm focal length that provides large corrected image circle and long backfocus, together with the high load capacity ESATTO 4" robotic focuser! Thanks to 298mm backfocus from telescope rear cell, you still have 198.5mm focus extraction after the focuser, so you are able to install any camera also with many accessories like off-axis guider, filter wheel, and even adaptive optics. The "wooden crate for 400" is mandatory for delivery.

The results are simply amazing: a telescope that offers a wide, flat focal plane (70 mm in diameter, with 198.5mm backfocus extraction after ESATTO 4" focuser). A wide focal plane that is diffraction limited over a wide spectral range. The corrector group is very close to the focal plane, so chromatic aberration is undetectable.
OfficinaStellare RiDK400 telescope has 294mm backfocus from the M120x1 female thread that is present in the rear cell. Since thickness of ESATTO 4” plus the adapter is 95.5mm, you still have 198.5mm of backfocus after the ESATTO 4". This allows you to add also the ARCO 3" camera rotator and field de-rotator and to add complex imaging trains composed by large format cameras and different accessories.
